This one has particular nostalgic value for me as I have an early memory of being on holiday with my parents in Cornwall and getting Chinese take-out to eat while watching this in the caravan. For whatever reason that always stuck in my mind as a really fond memory so I guess I'm reminded of it whenever I see this movie and am therefore, maybe a little blind to it's flaws.<br /><br />When I actually sit and think about it though that slide-whistle bit is just offensively stupid and the only parts of the film that actually linger in my memory are the flying car and the ending showdown between Bond and Scaramanga so I guess the rest must be kind of forgettable. That said I still think the aforementioned showdown is a lot of fun and Christopher Lee makes for a classic Bond villain. Another plus would be the awesome theme song but that's sort of a moot point because I love them all!
